We had a fantastic meeting this week with a nice Icebreaker from our new member Sarah and 2 new members joined. For the love of reading was our theme and "Deride" was the word of the day.

Our Open House we held on March 26th was a great success. We had plenty of food, some guests and of course great speeches.

Competition was the theme and on our minds this week with the area contest scheduled for this weekend. Our word of the day was strategy.

The theme this week was answering the "Why?" And the word of t he day was elucidate meaning to provide clarification or to illustrate. We had 4 speeches and 2 of those were for Pathways.

With the Oscars the theme for this week was Speech Lessons from Movies and our word of the day was coversation. We had 4 speeches this week with 2 icebreakers. We also had 4 guests show up this week. It's always a pleasure to see new faces.

This week PPTM had their Spring Club Contest for International Speeches and Table Topics. We had a great turnout and the judges had their hands full in trying to choose a winner for the Speeches and Table Topics.
