Preston Persuaders

On the eve of the upcoming Halloween, "Halloween" was our theme of the day for the October 28th meeting. "Trepidation" was our word of the day. Kudos to our venerable Toastmasters John Powers and Mario Munoz for educating us about Halloween and its origin, and "Día de Los Muertos".  We had an empowering speech by Toastmaster Dennis Steeger about "The Power of Love". All in all, we had a wonderful meeting. Congratulations to the winners of the night!

"Increase Influence" was our theme of the day for the October 21st meeting. "Ubiquitous" was our word of the day. Kudos to our venerable Toastmaster Nur Beg for choosing such an important theme, as we all know positive influence is key in all facets of our lives. Congratulations to the winners of the night!

"State Fair of Texas" was our theme of the day for the October 14th meeting. "Scrutinize" was our word of the day. We had a great meeting and an informative session about the "State Fair of Texas". Kudos to our Venerable Toastmaster Dean Emmert for choosing this wonderful theme which is in line with the things happening around in the town and shedding the lots of information about the event. Congratulations to the winners of the night!

"Power of forgiveness" was our theme of the day for our October 7th meeting. "Absolve" was our word of the day to reconcile our theme. As usual, we had a great meeting. Congratulations to winners

"Leaders" was our theme of the day for our September 30th meeting. "Galvanize" was our word of the day to reconcile our theme. Every member's presence jubilantly galvanized the meeting. Congratulations to winners.
